BVL Biosurfactant is produced by a natural fermentation process. It is produced under carefully controlled conditions. At the end of the process the fermenter contents are sterilised and centrifuged to remove any biomass. The specific types of biosurfactant in BVL Biosurfactant are a blend of rhamnolipids.

BVL Biosurfactant produces a very low interfacial tension for water/hydrocarbon systems so that it is very effective in emulsifying hydrocarbons. It also has excellent cleaning properties.

Storage
Store under cool, dry conditions. Storage temperature should be between 5 – 45oC.
Dilute 1:50 in clean water and apply to the oil stain. For fresh stains use a spray and wash away. For old and stubborn stains use a hard bristle brush such as a deck scrub and scrub the area well. Wash away using water.
BFL Biosurfactant contains no corrosive or harsh chemicals and will not harm metal, plastic or ceramic drain materials. The components of the product are completely biodegradable in accordance with OECD guidelines.
